It appears that Google did not appreciate the controversy and leaks that plague 2018 concerning the Pixel 3 XL notch several months ahead of its launch. In light of the Pixel 4 and 4 XL recent leaks and renders, Google has decided to kill the buzz with a huge spoiler.
Googles Official – Made By Google – Twitter account just released a tweet with a render of the Pixel 4 XL. Here is a link to the original tweet. The Pixel series is due to be released in about 4 months ahead of now.
We would like to say that we have never heard of another smartphone manufacturer that had officially leaked its upcoming smartphone which is still to be launched about 4 months into the future.
With that said let’s take a closer look and see what we can make from Google’s render of the supposed, Pixel 4.
Pixel 4 Design
With just a glance the first complain we had is that the is no front view, that hurts, I guess will still have to use some imagination. Secondly, it looks almost exactly like the already leaked iPhone 11 Renders.
Apart from that, the isn’t anything more to complain of. It seems Google is moving away from the single real camera, thankfully, as the picture clearly shows two camera sensor, the flash, and another sensor which has been speculated to be a Spectral Sensor.
Another thing of interest is the is no rear fingerprint reader in the render. This must mean Google must be adopting the In-Display fingerprint Reader. Plus previous Pixel 4 Rumor speculated that the Pixel 4 will come with a 3D Face Unlock sensor like the one found on iPhone X upward.
So what do you think of Google releasing a render of the Pixel 4 ahead of its launch? Do you think it is a desperate move?
