Google’s Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL flagship smartphones have been under the spotlight mostly because of its negative reviews. Although Google has done its best to fix some of the issues with software patches, sadly, the most relevant issues can’t be resolved with an update.

Arguably the most prominent issue with the 4 XL is how easily it can crack. During the JerryRigsEverything bend test, the Pixel 4 XL quickly broke in four places with just a little push from the front screen. Bearing in mind that most smartphones from respectful manufacturers like Google have all passed this test, it’s easy to see why this is a significant concern.

In the video above, Jerry explains that the Pixel 4 XL problem was with its antennas. According to him, Google did not look for any solution to solve the weakness that the antenna gaps made on the smartphone.

However, today, Jerry is back with another Pixel 4 XL video, and this time he shared another info regarding the Pixel 4 XL.

In his recent video, Jerry explains that the Pixel 4 XL sides are mostly made plastic in the inside rather metal, which is why it cracked.

“The Pixel 4 is made with less metal than other phoines and thats probably why it broke.”

Despite all its shortcomings, the Pixel 4 XL still excels in what the Pixels a famous for. Its camera prowess is still one of the best in the market.
