A few days ago, Google submitted a patent for the upcoming Google pixel 4 and pixel 4xl which suggested a true bezelless diplay and today we have full specs for the hardware that will power both upcoming devices
Today, a new benchmark test result appeared on Geekbench for a mysterious Google device with code name Google Coral. This device is not yet confirmed to be the Pixel 4xl. We will let you know why we believe it to be so.
Taking a close look at the results, the device will be packing the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855, and 6gb of ram. Which is exciting and a relief to see Google finally bumping-up their ram after using 4gb of ram for their flagship devices these past few years.
It’s safe to assume that the device in question won’t be the upcoming Google Pixel 3 lite as the Pixel 3 Lite is a budget-friendly phone, and it would be unrealistic to expect a Snapdragon 855 and 6gb of ram combo.
In addition, the Google Carol smartphone will be powered by android Q out-of-the-box, and android Q is expected to be released in August, around when the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4xl sequel are expected to be announced. Which re-enforce the reason why we believe the mystery device to be the Pixel 4xl.
Make a joke on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3xl Notches all you want, but their camera game is still to be beaten. This time around, rumor has it that the Pixel 4xl will be equipped with a dual rear-facing camera instead of only one. The ram will be increased to 6gb instead of 4gb, and Google will be increasing the display size by getting rid of the notch. Let’s hope the price tag does not see an increase too.
Let us hear your thoughts in the comments. Do you believe this device to be the pixel 4xl? Or do you think the Pixel 4xl launch date is still too far to have been leaked this early?
